Respect all members and guests is the first and foremost rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated, if someone says to stop doing something or saying something because it bugs them, then stop. We're here to have fun, yeah? If you feel someone is disrespecting you, please let staff know and we will deal with the situation. Also, if you have questions, feel free to ask in the chat or through private message; staff will do our best to help you in any way! - Registering
You can register with any name you want, doesn't matter at all. Just make sure to change your display name to your character's name before starting to RP! - Your Profile
Your avatar should be 200x400. Your 'Mini-Avatar' should be 150x150. Make sure to fill out the information in edit profile > personal, at the very bottom: Application, Plotter, Fairy Tale Name, OOC Name, and Land (use one word if the land has a long name, so Enchanted Forest becomes Forest, but the future can stay 'The Future'). Make sure your display is your character's name (preferably their cursed name, if they have one). Also, feel free to add a quote on your profile, there's a little area in the mini-profile to display it after all! - Your Character
Make sure to use the application provided. Originals are acceptable, provided they don't change the show's canon too much, a little leeway can be made, but not too much. Usually characters are from a story, but you could make them a background character, or just some nobody in a fairy tale, if you wish. Minor, meaning they don't appear in more than one episode, characters can be considered original characters (another exception is most of the Lost Boys of Peter Pan, as they do not appear very much) and can be manipulated into OCs within reason. Please also keep in mind canons most likely are more powerful in their area of expertise. - Canon Characters
Of course you can play them! In fact we welcome them! However, canon characters are more structured in their acceptance compared to OCs. This is because there is much less ability to manipulate their history, abilities, and personality. This means one cannot take Alice In Wonderland Characters and make them essentially OC's, as Alice has been addressed in the show, as well as most characters within the tale. Abilities not seen are the show will also not be accepted, as we would have seen them if they possessed them. IE Snow White can't use magic. If you take up a canon, activity is a biggie, try to post at least once a week. - Posting
There is a 100-word requirement per post, but that shouldn't be too hard to hit. If you're caught hitting below this too often, you will be issued a warning and if it continues, then staff will work on solving this issue. This is a PG13 rated forum, as per the Proboards TOS, so explicit sex, drug abuse, and various other 'adult' themes are not allowed If a thread exceeds the PG13 rating, report it to the staff and we'll deal with the thread. Do not godmod, but also don't push a character into a position where you can't get out of without getting hurt in some way (ie, you're trying to kill Belle, and Rumple's there, you most likely will get hurt)… basically don't push a character into a corner. Also, you can't be perfect, punches will hit some times, someone can beat you in some way, though keep in mind the strength level of who you are facing. Basically, keep it fair and realistic (well OUAT realistic) especially when you're fighting. - Chat Box
The chat can be found on the left side of the forum (there's a little box that says click for chatbox). This chat is OC, and will support avatars (will resize to be square, but non-square images will seem distorted). To add an avatar click the little person button next to your name and insert the URL or upload the avatar you wish to use. No advertising is allowed there, but guests are welcome to post, as well as members to chat about.
