Hades was reborn. Along with him Robin Hood. However, that was the only good thing to come from it. Hades enslaved the world, sending everyone back to the Enchanted Forest, and for thirty long years, the heroes fought hard, but they never succeeded. Many of the heroes we knew and loved died in the fight. Rumplestiltskin lost his powers and died. However, their children continued the fight. Baby Neal was no longer a baby, and he came up with a dangerous idea to fix everything... time travel.
Ah, Storybrooke, Maine, a small town full of fairy tale characters. Snow White, Prince Charming, Rumplestiltskin, and Captain Hook are all residents of this little cozy town. Not a day passes that isn't interesting. Their fight with Hades, Lord of the Underworld, has ended, taking the life of a friend for victory. Everything seems to settle for a moment, until people start showing up. At first they might keep their identities a secret, but soon it'll come out, their mission, however, will remain constant: save the future.
Winter -
Winter has come to Storybrooke, its nice and cold out, and there might even be some snow falling at times. People are breaking out their coats and hats and mittens to keep warm, or they simply stay inside by a fire or snuggle close to a loved one. The Holiday spirit is the in the air, the time of giving and good cheer is here. It almost makes you forget that trouble is bound to appear.

Ah yes, this is the most visible structure in Storybrooke, sitting right on Main Street. The building is the library full of all sorts of books, and by climbing a few stairs one can find their way to the clock tower, where they can get a nice view of the entire town. Evil villain brooding is common here.
From Mr. Gold's pink house, to the Blanchard loft, to any character's bed, this is where you can find home. Of course, hero meetings tend to go to the Blanchard Loft instead of someone else's home. Wouldn't it be nice to stop by Regina's place sometime or something?
Got a complaint? You can usually find Mayor Snow here. It is also a place that has been used as a stronghold recently, one could suppose its the castle of this kingdom.
All of elementary, middle, and high school are crowded into one school building, though its not too bad as the class are extremely small as Storybrooke is small itself. Knowledge, after all, is the most powerful weapon of them all.
The best hamburgers in town, and probably even outside of town! A popular stop for everyone, Granny's has the best food out there, plus its one of the few restaurants in town. If you don't want to cook, you pretty much have to come here. At least there's a B&B where you can rest if you don't want to go home or don't have a place yet!
Ah the night life. Full of beer, pool, and girls, no wonder its a popular place for many a young man. Be careful not to drink too much... who knows what you'll end up doing.
Ohhhhhh scary and dark with trees all around... though if you look inside, you might stumble upon Mr. Gold's cabin where secret villain meetings tend to occur, secluded and away from the town. Of course, one could easily get lost in the forest, though, be careful not to step over the painted line, that's the end of town!
Can you smell the scent of the ocean? The waves washing upon the shore. Ah, such a peaceful place. Along with a fish restaurant, one can find pirate ships (or well, one pirate ship), regular boats (perhaps you could rent one to go sailing the harbor) and the white sandy beaches of Storybrooke. Relax, pull up a chair - wait, wrong place for that.
Can't fit in anywhere above? Well, that's fine. Storybrooke is a small town, but it still has a lot of places. This is where you can find all those places. If a certain location tends to be popular here, it might get its own board!
Misthaven, ah, home sweet home. Many of our fairytale characters will tend to be from here, a forest of enchantment with many queens and kings and princes... here you can explore the past... or well the future, but that's the same thing depending on who you ask.
Home of the Ice Queen, and Elsa and Anna. The kingdom of ice, the kingdom of the north. While this kingdom was not swept up by the curse, Misthaven and Arendelle occasionally have travel and trade between the two lands.
Never ever ever grow up. This is where one can explore the land of kids, of lost boys, of Indians, of Peter Pan. Of course, travel to and from is hard, but not impossible...
Ah yes, you're looking one of those pesky lands that doesn't have a board yet? Jump on a magic carpet, through a rabbit hole, pull a sword from a stone, whatever land it may be, it can be found here. If a land gets enough threads, it may receive its own board.
